I am a Colorado native, and it was the wild range of dramatic weather I grew up with here that sparked the urge to photograph it, and then to understand the science behind it.
I began a meteorology degree at Metropolitan State University of Denver and transferred to Mississippi State University to finish it, graduating in Broadcast and Operational Meteorology in 2020. My passion is being in the field documenting and reporting every mode of extreme weather, from fires and floods to blizzards, hail storms and tornadoes.
My photographs and footage have been featured by Cosmopolitan, The Weather Channel, AccuWeather, 9News, Denver7, ABC, NBC, CBS and CNN, and Stormscapes Photo Tours has been covered by USA Today.
